I was born in the City of Guadalajara Jalisco. My parents took me to San Juan Cosala since I was 3 month old baby, Since then, coming here for all the vacations and weekends. I used to sail and water-ski here in Chapala lake. I was windsurfing state champion in 1982 and third place in 1983, also lots of competitions at the “Governor’s Cup” in Laser category. When I was growing up, Chapala and Ajijic were very different, there were no phones, no traffic lights or 4 lane highway to Guadalajara. It shock me how big these places are now and still managing to keep the traditions, same as local people keeping their Mexican warmth. I also learned English at school. I attended Cambridge U.K. University. lived 5 years in California and Louisiana but still having my Hispanic accent. I have worked almost all my life in sales, representing the most important shoe factories in Mexico for 13 years, as Pacific area manager with two major brands, also selling from my little factory. I have always liked work in sales, it’s not just selling something, when you do it right, it's great to see buyers happy, thats a good feeling. I love to meet and make new friends all the time.. Chapala is one of the best places to live, the climate is the best in the world, landscapes are wonderful, people are friendly and the place is quiet.
